What non-mainstream anime dvd should I buy?
Show or movie. I want to watch another anime series or movie. I just bought Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind.

My favorite was Howls Moving Castle, though Spirited Away was also great. Ghibli movies really aren’t far from main stream though in fact Spirited Away was the highest grossing film ever in Japan.
It all depends on what you like. One of the greatest animes I’ve ever seen could probably never be shown on TV would be Elfen Lied. As far as lesser known titles Kino’s Journey was great (but completely different from Elfen)
